EMPOWERING ABILITIES THROUGH INCLUSION
Imagine the crack of a bat connecting with a ball, the cheer of a crowd, and the smile of an athlete rounding the bases. Now picture a field where everyone—regardless of ability—can experience the magic of the game. This is the vision of the Rappahannock Miracle League (RML).
Our mission is simple: To create inclusive sports opportunities for families of the Rappahannock area and beyond, giving children and young adults with disabilities the chance to play baseball and other team sports.

THE RAPPAHANNOCK MIRACLE LEAGUE ORIGIN STORY
A letter from our Executive Director
Hello All Star,
Thank you for visiting us! I wanted to give you a little background on who we are and why we created this program. Courtney and I founded the Rappahannock Miracle League to help children and young adults stay active and connected to our community. As co-parents to a recently graduated and intellectually disabled son, Koby, we looked for ways to keep him engaged with peers and stay physically active. What we found were very few inclusive recreational opportunities in our area.
Inspired by Koby’s love of baseball and our previous involvement with the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Miracle Leagues, we founded the Rappahannock Miracle League to create a welcoming, inclusive community where athletes of all ages and abilities can play sports, build confidence, and just have fun.
To us, RML is about more than just baseball. It’s about a safe place for these amazing and unique players to belong. It’s about creating opportunities for families who often feel overlooked or left out, giving them the chance to participate, cheer, celebrate and be celebrated.
We are so glad you’re here and invite you to step up to the plate and help us create a world where everyone gets a chance to play.
With love and gratitude,
Jada Fields
Executive Directoror
Because at the Rappahannock Miracle League, every player is a star, and every game is a home run for inclusion.
